Annual 4th of July Parade, Fireworks Display, Dinner at the Casino Ballroom

5th Annual Taste Around Avalon
The Official Kick-Off to the
2nd Annual Flying Fish Festival!

Who's Invited:
Members of the community and visitors alike are invited to participate in this exciting annual event. Don't miss this chance to mingle and experience all of the fabulous restaurants, bars and specialty shops that Catalina Island has to offer.
How It Works:
Each guest attending must purchase a Voting Card in order to participate. Voting cards will be available for advance purchase at a cost of $1.00 per card at the Chamber's Visitor Center on the Green Pier from Monday May 25th through Thursday, May 28th, or during the event for $2.00 per card.
The event will begin at 5:00pm on Wrigley Stage, with a brief welcome and introduction to the 5th Annual Taste Around of Avalon.
Guests will stroll down Avalon's waterfront and visit each participating establishment to sample their "Tastes" of food and/or drinks. Once all of the participants have been visited, guests will vote for their favorite food, drink and dessert on the Taste Around of Avalon Voting Card.
The establishments with the most votes at the end of the evening will be awarded $100 and a certificate of recognition.
Event Cost:
Voting Cards (one per person):
$1 per card advance purchase
$2 per card at the event.
Participating establishments may charge $1.00 for each "Taste".

22nd Annual Silent Film Benefit
Celebrate the island’s fascinating history as one of Hollywood’s favorite locations. Step back in time to the 1920’s for a classic silent film screening featuring live musical accompaniment on the historic Page Organ in the Avalon Theatre.
