Activities Scheduled For The Month Of April In Catalina Island

Aero Club Social Fly-in

By reserving Aero Club Social Fly-in event, you can take the Wildlands Express or fly in across the sky from the Airport to the Avalon Plaza. It will be conducted from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm on 9 April (2nd Saturday of the month). Please note that the organizers may cancel the event if the weather is worse.

21st Annual Conservancy Ball

The celebration of the 21st Annual Catalina Island Conservancy Ball is also scheduled to be held on April 9. This event includes dancing with silent and live auctions and dinner. As this is an annual event and hundreds of people are expected to come over, the entry is restricted through the reservation. There are also opportunities for sponsorship and underwriting.

20th Annual Rubber Ducky Derby

This is an annual fundraising event organized to financially support the theater company of local kids known as “Kids At Play.” The event is scheduled to be held on 10 April at noon on South Beach. The participants will be given the opportunity for adoption of ducks. Solo ducks are sold for 5 bucks. Also, you can get 30 Racing Thrills for two 50-dollar bills and 5 Quackers for 20 smackers. For $100, you can get corporate sponsorships.

Spring Feast

The Spring Feast is to be held on 21 April at the City of Avalon Recreation Department. The event with lots of Music and Games will certainly be a mind-blowing experience for you. Catalina Island Gran Fondo

Catalina Island Gran Fondo is to be held on 30 April. It is a must-attend event for every tourist visiting Catalina. Lots of fun, breathtaking views and challenging climbs are the specialties of this event.
