Luxury Cruise Rides To Catalina Island

Catalina Island has always been a favorite vacation spot for Californians. Many people from all around the world visit Catalina Island and enjoy its breathtaking turquoise waters and serene ambiance. Though you can see carnival ships dropping hundreds and thousands of adventurists and vacationers to the island, two luxury cruises are lining up to provide you a memorable time in Avalon this fall. What’s more, many of the Catalina Island hotels are also introducing great packages in fall. Get in touch with the Hotel Metropole reservation desk to know more on the packages and special deals.

The cruises, Crystal Symphony and Oceania’s Sirena, will stop at the Catalina Island port on 24 Nov and 12 Dec respectively. The Oceania’s Sirena will have another stop at the island on 22 Dec. You can enjoy the island in all its glory the entire day. Jason Laseki, Senior Director of Communications for NCL, Oceania’s parent company, says Catalina is “a perfect port of call for our Mexican Riviera cruises departing from Los Angeles.”

He further added that their decision to make a stop at Catalina during their maiden season was because the island offers numerous options to the visitors. “Catalina has many of the experiences our guests want from a port of call – activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, or playing golf, plus great shopping experiences, art galleries, and a robust collection of fine dining options,” Laseki said in a press release.

The clear waters around Catalina Island houses many exotic marine species and is the most amazing spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. For non-diving enthusiasts, the island has many kayaking options as well, so that you don’t miss out on anything. Even if you were not that into exploring marine life, you could spend the day enjoying a hike or bike ride through the hilly trails. For advanced adventurists, the island also has a great zip line ride set up around 600 feet above sea level.

Your options do not end there. You can go for a peaceful stroll to the Avalon Marketplace, tour the Catalina Casino, visit the Catalina Island Museum, enjoy mesmerizing cuisines at world class restaurants, experience fish tacos, go for a wildlife safari, play some golf, or shop local art and artisanal jewelry. No matter what you do in Catalina, one thing is guaranteed – you will have a great time!
