The participants who arrive on Two Harbors for the ocean experience will be initially treated with a brief history of Catalina Island and about Two Harbors by a local paddler. This will be followed by a paddle adventure basic lesson on planning, packing, safety, and strategy. The participants will be required to put these lessons to use when they paddle to a remote campsite on the island.
