Museum Day

Museum Day - in conjunction with the County of Los Angeles Public Library's Children's Summer Discovery Program - will feature a reading of "Where the Wild Things Are" by librarian Morgan Rose Pershing. A very special surprise guest will help with the reading. A Wild Rumpus Dance Party and a craft project will follow.

Movies at the Museum – Romancing the Stone

This annual summer program highlights classic and family friendly films whose themes may be related to Catalina Island or museums in general. A few selections may include movies filmed on the island. The evening also offers an opportunity to explore the "Chihuly at the Catalina Island Museum" exhibition when the artwork is dramatically illuminated.
